Once candidates apply to your job postings, you manage their applications in the HR portal. This guide covers how to review applications, work with CVs, read interview evaluations, and use AI-generated insights to make hiring decisions.

Viewing Applications

Applications appear in two places:
  • Job Posting detail page — Shows all applications for a specific job, in Kanban or List view
  • Application detail page — Shows everything about a single candidate’s application
On the job posting page, click any application card (Kanban) or table row (List) to open the detail page.

Changing Application Status

You can move candidates through the pipeline in two ways:
  • Kanban drag-and-drop — Drag a candidate card from one status column to another
  • Application detail page — Use the status stepper at the top:
    • Click Move to [Next Status] to advance the candidate one stage
    • Click Reject Candidate to reject them at any point
The pipeline stages are: AppliedScreenedInterviewedShortlistedHired (or Rejected as a terminal status).

Application Detail Page

The application detail page is where you review all available information about a candidate. It includes a sidebar with key details and a tabbed content area. The right sidebar shows a summary of the application:
  • Fit Score — Overall AI-generated match score
  • Applied Date and Status
  • CV uploaded status
  • AI-Generated Summary — Quick overview from insights
  • Interview details — Score, language, timing, recording status, and duration
  • Contact information — Email and phone number
  • Job Posting details — Title, location, employment type, salary, and organization
Use the three-dot menu in the sidebar for quick actions:
  • Send Email — Opens your email client with the candidate’s address
  • Copy Phone Number — Copies the candidate’s phone number to your clipboard
  • Export PDF — Downloads the full application as a PDF

AI Assistant

Click Ask AI in the page header to open the AI assistant sidebar. You can ask natural-language questions about the candidate and their application, and the AI will answer using all available data.

Insights Tab

The Insights tab appears when AI-generated insights are available. It provides a unified assessment that combines CV evaluation and interview performance. The tab displays:
  • Score Cards — Four metrics at a glance:
    • CV Score (out of 5, weighted at 30%)
    • Interview Score (out of 5, weighted at 70%)
    • Overall Score (weighted combination)
    • Hiring Recommendation (Strong Hire, Hire, Maybe, or No Hire)
  • Executive Summary — Narrative overview with Fit Score analysis
  • Strengths — Key strengths identified across all data
  • Weaknesses — Areas where the candidate falls short
  • Tools & Skills — Technical tools and skills identified
  • Areas for Development — Growth opportunities
  • Risks — Potential red flags
  • Behavioural Observations — Patterns observed during the interview
Each section has AI Feedback buttons (thumbs up/down) so you can help improve AI quality over time.
If insights haven’t been generated yet, they are automatically triggered when a CV evaluation or interview completes. You can also manually refresh them from the Insights tab. See Application Lifecycle for details on scoring weights.

Interview Evaluation Tab

The Interview Evaluation tab shows everything from the candidate’s AI interview:

Interview Playback

If a recording is available, a video/audio player lets you watch or listen to the full interview.

  • Logistical Considerations — Availability, location preferences, etc.
  • Tools & Skills — Technologies and skills mentioned
  • Candidate’s Questions — Questions the candidate asked
  • Follow-Up Questions — Suggested questions for human interviewers

Pre-Screening Tab

The Pre-Screening tab appears when the candidate has completed screening questions. It displays each question with the candidate’s answer. If any answers triggered knockout criteria, they are flagged here.

Activity Timeline & Notes Tab

This tab has two sections:

Activity Timeline

A chronological log of everything that happened with this application — when it was created, when the interview was scheduled, when statuses changed, and more. Each event shows a colored indicator and timestamp.

Notes

A free-text area where you can add internal notes about the candidate. Click Update Application to save your notes.

CV Tab

The CV tab handles CV uploads and displays parsed CV data alongside AI evaluation results.

Uploading a CV

If no CV has been uploaded, you’ll see an upload prompt. Click Upload CV to select a PDF file. Processing happens in the background — the page will update automatically when text extraction and AI evaluation are complete.
After uploading a CV, it may take a few moments for the evaluation to appear. The page refreshes automatically once processing is done.

Viewing CV Data

Once processed, the CV tab shows a split-panel view:
